TEXAS!!

School got out on Friday, and Monday morning we headed to Texas for my nephew, Michael's, wedding. Clint couldn't go, so the kids and I met my parents in Casper and drove together. It was a long ride, but we had lots of great videos so we made it! We stopped in Kansas somewhere for the night and finished driving to Princeton, Texas the next day.

We met my brother Tony, his wife, Kelli, and girls (including a new baby, Keiran, whom we hadn't met yet) and we all stayed with a friend, Christi Roberts. Talk about amazing! She let all these crazy people invade her house....5 adults and 8 children! Christi showed us around and helped us keep cool in the pool. (The Texas heat was different than anything we had ever experienced!) She also did a makeover for the girls and we had a fashion show. Lots of fun!

My brother, Nicc, also flew in. It was kind of crazy because there was a tornado warning and a huge storm. He was supposed to fly in at 10:00pm and they finally got in at 4:00am. I never would have guessed that weather would be such in issue in June, plus in Texas! We're used to winter storms and possible plane delays October-February! (My brother Todd & his wife Kim were supposed to fly in, but their kids got the swine flu right before they were supposed to leave, so they stayed home!)

Then Thursday, we headed to Paris, Texas. (A couple hours away.) There, we helped get ready for the wedding. We enjoyed meeting Stormy's family (Michael's wife) and seeing where she is from. We had a great time! Paris is a pretty area and Texans are very friendly. Again, we had to find a pool to stay cool, but we managed.

The wedding was nice. The kids had lots of fun dancing, and helping out. We all LOVE Stormy! The kids think she's the bomb....and so does the aunt! We've decided that Michael made a great catch!

Sounds like a fun, and long trip. I'm glad you guys got to go, and didn't get caught too much in weather.
