The Pollocks' (aka Griswolds) Christmas Tree

For the past few years, our friends, Tom & Kami Maack have picked up a Christmas tree for us the weekend after Thanksgiving. However, this year, they were away for Thanksgiving and didn't go. So, the first weekend of December, our family joined theirs to go get a Christmas tree. We had a wonderful time! We went up by Kami's family's cabin by Big Timber and were able to get a great tree. It was nice that the kids could pick it out, and Pat even started cutting it down. Since we only have the van, we decided to "go Griswald" and put it right on top.

It was a great time and a great memory that reminds me of my own childhood. (Not the putting it on top of the van, just going to get our Christmas tree!!)

Tonight we decorated it for Family Home Evening (with help from our friend Emmy). It looks fabulous!

Your Tree is beautiful!! How fun. I love that it went on top of your van. When we came home from thanksgiving we saw so many trees on top of cars it was great and some were to big for the vehicles. It works:)

That is actually a very pretty, fresh cut tree. Most of our neighbors who cut their own come home with nice Charlie Brown trees.

Merry Christmas! Love all the fun pictures.
